Achilles Tendon Rupture by Dr. Amber Shane

This case comes from Dr. Amber Shane, DPM, of Orlando, Florida: A 37 year-old male initially presents with a full-thickness Achilles Tendon rupture from a basketball jumping injury 3 days ago. The patient underwent end-to-end open primary repair.  Full healing of the surgical site occurred at two weeks with a normal postoperative course. Four weeks
